Did you know the Book of Isaiah is like a Mini Bible?
In the King James Version the Old Testament has 39 books and in the New Testament it has 27!
Simple math will show you that 39 + 27 = 66!
So if you have ever read the book of Isaiah you can safely divide it into two parts!
1) The first part from Chapter 1 to 39
2) The second part from Chapter 40 to 66
You can say that the first part is the “Looking towards captivity”
The second part is “Looking beyond captivity!”
In the second part, chapter 40 verse 3 we have the first mention of John Cryer!
Yes sir, Isaiah mentions him right here!
Isa 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
The Jews have been looking for the Messiah ever since they missed Him at His First coming but rest assured they will finally find Him in the end.
Say’s who?
Isaiah of course!
Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
