Here's the article of interest:

Got some good feedback from Wes's comments. After a good email exchange in the past few days, I thought it would be a good idea to make the discussion available publicly.

Great to be on your website!
The basic premise that I am promoting is that after Noah's worldwide flood, at about 2345 BC, a tremendous asteroid split the continents. When the continents energy stopped and friction took over, volcanoes were created. The volcanoes created the Ice Age. The Ice Age killed off most of any dinosaurs left. There is a great amount of evidence from many disciplines for this event.

Great to have you here!
I think the timing you give for the flood event is spot on, both in the geological and biblical records.
There are too many verses that show there have been many celestial events that took place in the early to late Bronze Age. Since the flood event there has been:
- meteor/asteroid/comet debris responsible for the destruction of Sodom. Gomorrah and the cities around the Dead Sea valley
- the plagues of the Exodus, including the parting of the Red Sea
- the sun standing still in Joshua's Long Day (also recorded by the Chinese)
- the sun going back and forth 10 degrees in Hezekiah's account
I agree that the flood kicked off the Ice Ages. However remember that whatever land animals that were on earth at the time of the flood made it into the ark, including dinosaurs. Fairy tales tell of adult animals making the trip but logically, it would be the young who were small enough to survive the flood event and be mentally capable of replenishing the earth. In the case of the dinosaurs, they were hunted to extinction. The ancient lores of dragon slayers on all continents and cultures give proof of this. Apparently, sauropods were known to roam about, until they like the human giants (red-haired, 6 fingers and toes, and 2 rows of teeth) were driven to extinction too.
There are standing stones in Anatolia that are more ancient than Mesopotamia and have carvings of dinosaurs on them. This would make sense since that's where civilization was rebooted before we had written languages. I believe that a few generations after the flood, there was some kind of solar/plasma event, known as the "Squatter Man Event" where lots of rock art around the world depicts some sort of interaction between "the gods of mythology" and humans.
Another point to consider about the comet/asteroid impact "theory" is that on the whole, the Bible REVEALS all truths, and with careful study and inspiration from the Holy Spirit we see how what once happened in the past will come again.
The book of Revelation actually gives an account of at least 2 asteroid impacts that MUST occur within a specific time.
Revelation 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
- Revelation 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
Revelation 8:12 nd the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
Revelation 11:13
And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
- Revelation 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
Those verses give what appears to be a description of comet/asteroid impacts and the effects it will have as seen from an observer on the earth
Jesus DID say
Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
So as it was in 2340BC around Halloween, the same will occur much sooner than we would like to think.... like within this decade if calculations from the Jewish calendar and Hosea 6 prophecies are correct. No one was around back then to actually record what they saw, but some unlucky people in the next few years will - some will get to live to talk about it and others not so lucky.

Thanks for your reply. There are many areas where we agree.
Asteroids are definitely not foreign to the Biblical narrative as you so aptly showed.
There are a few lines of evidence that this tremendous asteroid hit after Noah's worldwide flood. There is one link that shows that the Septuagint is more to be trusted for dates and that the Pyramids were built on the Noah's worldwide flood deposits. These pyramid like structures happen to be similar around the world. How did the pyramids survive the flood? They didn't - they were built after the flood.

Thanks for the link! In did some digging of my own and came up with similar information regarding the Septuagint texts as having the more accurate chronology.
biblearchaeology.org/research/biblical-c...he-septuagint-part-1
Funny they mention the reason for the date change adding 600 years to the Masoretic texts was to debt the coming of Jesus.
This is kind of important for those that want some sort of precision of when things will happen.
Working backwards from the expected date of his return, around April 17, 2030, we know that there has to be 2 asteroid/comet strikes from sometime in 2023 to 2030. The apocalypse described in Revelation is the same celestial events that kicked off the flood;
The 2030 date is obtained simply by using the Hebrew calendar to count 2,000 years (as per Hosea 6:1-2 and Matthew 26:21 for when the counting should begin. That would put at least one of the asteroids to hit the earth sometime around 2026-27. This would be around the halfway point in the tribulation, with it starting possibly in 2023-24.
I’m sure those with the right equipment can track what’s coming; it should be seen and course plotted by now.
I’ve been looking at the electric universe theory (Thunderbolts project has some good info), to include electrical/plasma discharge events along with the meteor/comet impacts. My hunch is to correlate known astronomical events from the Bible and world sources from the same time period.
Someone must have recorded the darkening of the skies on April 3, 30AD at noon Jerusalem time. Maybe the Chinese or those inhabiting the Americas saw the event differently?
Does the discrepancy between the LXX and Masoretic texts change anything with your research?

You are welcome. Yes. I had never heard of the Septuagint when I started this research. The Jews wanted to discredit Jesus and make Shem into Melchezedik - almost worked.
I'll have to do some looking into the asteroids that are to come and at what time. I do know the first half of the tribulation is no where near as bad as the last half of tribulation.
If you are interested in the electric universe, you would be interested in the writings of Barry Setterfield - a fellow creationist. I don't believe there is a need for the variability of the speed of light however. His website is barrysetterfield.org.
As far as someone recording the darkened skies - there were two - both Romans - Thallus and Phlagon - see at this link:
www.neverthirsty.org/about-christ/historical-quotes/phlegon/
www.neverthirsty.org/about-christ/historical-quotes/thallus/
I definitely use the Septuagint over the Masoretic for any dating research.
Have fun!
