Where is your Sword?

The Word of God is compared to a two-edged sword!

Heb 4:12  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Let’s see what each side of this two-edged sword are.

1)      Quick and Powerful

2)      Dividing soul and spirit from joints and marrow

Meaning dividing the inner man from the outer man

3)      Discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart

Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: BTW here you have proof that the Bible was written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit, and that’s why the Bible is error free!

Jesus rebuked Peter for using the wrong sword!

Mat 26:52  Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

Joh 18:11  Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath:

Jesus never ever used any kind of weapon Jesus solely relied on the WORD OF GOD to fight all His battles, Peter later learned his lesson, and we like Peter must learn the same lesson!

We must fight all our battles with the WORD OF GOD this is the only way to be victorious! THERE IS NO OTHER WEAPON PROVIDED FOR US BY GOD!

So pick up your Sword (Bible) and start using it (Reading it)!

In time you WILL ONLY RELY ON YOUR SWORD, YOU WILL GO NOWHERE WITHOUT IT!

Some people engrave their names on their Sword, that’s OK

Some people write all over their Sword, I like to keep mine spotless!
